Monastic life
The monastery in Vyšší Brod / Hohenfurth as it stands today is more than just a historical monument and cultural heritage. It is an inhabited house, a living tradition. Thanks be to God, the Lord of all what happens!
Holy Masses
- at 6:45 A.M. on week days – in Latin (During winter months in the Winter Chapel. Those interested in taking part are requested to inform us in advance).
- at 10:00 A.M. on Sundays and major holidays – in Czech lang. (1 Jan., 6 Jan., 26 Jan., 19 March, 1 June, 5 July, 11 July, 15 August, 28 September, 1 October, 8 December, 25 December, Easter, The Feast of the Ascension, Pentecost, Corpus Christi, and The Feast of the Sacred Heart).
